We’re excited to announce Autscot, a new Autistic community-led event run by ARGH Scotland. See below for some updates to do with room booking and proposals for the programme.
Date: 6th – 9th April 2027
Location: Larbert, Scotland
Autscot is an Autistic Space created by Autistic people, for Autistic people. While non-autistic people are welcome to attend, the event will be designed with Autistic culture and comfort as the priority.
Inspired by events such as Autreat and Autscape, Autscot is an independent event and is not connected to or affiliated with any other organisation.
What to Expect
Autscot will be a small, community-focused gathering, offering a supportive and inclusive environment. The residential retreat-style conference will include opportunities to connect, share experiences, and learn together in a neuroaffirming space away from the demands of neurotypical dominated day to day pressures.
- Tickets will cover the full event, including overnight stays and meals
- A limited number of day tickets will also be available
- The event is entirely volunteer-led and community-driven
Important Information
- Under 18s are welcome to attend
- The lead booker must be aged 18+
- Any under 18s must be supervised by their responsible adult at all times
- Please note: no childcare will be provided

If you are considering coming to Autscot 2027, start thinking about who you could share a room with.
We have a limited number of rooms available for Autscot, and most rooms have more than one bed. All are ensuite.
To help us welcome as many people as possible, ensure that people who want to come can get a place and create the community atmosphere that will make the event special, we’re encouraging people to share a room with a family member or friend wherever possible.
There will be a discount for people who share, so it’s a great opportunity to come along together while also helping us make the most of the accommodation available.
Sharing rooms means:
- More people can take part in Autscot.
- We can create a stronger sense of community and connection throughout the event.
- We can make the best use of our limited accommodation.
- We can keep the event financially sustainable for the charity.
Booking will open in November 2026. Before booking opens, have a think about who you might like to share with. Is there a family member, friend or someone from your community who you could invite along?
It’s not mandatory for people to share rooms, and we won’t make people share with strangers. This request is about helping us ensure we make the best possible use of the available accommodation on site.
We’ll share full booking details and the room-sharing discount when bookings open.
Our call for proposals for those interested in presenting or contributing to the programme CLOSED on 28th September. Thank you to everyone who sent a proposal in. We’re working through them and will let people know the outcomes soon.
